The eleventh edition of ZOBENS UN LEMESS will take place on 12–14 June 2026 in Vecumnieki, Zemgale, by Jaunais Lake. The festival unfolds over three days, bringing together extreme metal, folk influences, and living history in a shared outdoor experience.

Music, Living History, and Programme
The programme unites metal and folk music with living history practices, creating a space where sound, culture, and presence coexist.
The final day of the festival is dedicated to a special themed programme, inviting visitors to engage in cultural reflection and honor the victims of Communist genocide. Running until the afternoon, the day features folk music concerts, educational lectures, and commemorative rituals, bringing a meaningful close to the festival.
A New Location in Zemgale
Bauska Hillfort Park is currently undergoing reconstruction, so this year we are changing the festival location while remaining faithful to the Zemgale region. The location — Vecumnieki — is compact, scenic, and atmospheric, offering a focused setting for the festival’s next chapter. But also more compact. This naturally affects both the possibilities of the site layout and the number of visitors we can host. Unlike previous editions, this time ZOBENS UN LEMESS will welcome only as many people as the space allows, meaning a limited number of tickets. In return, this creates a special opportunity to experience the festival in a concentrated and exclusive atmosphere. A good adventure awaits us.
